So this is just Mynde here. No Jedi. I think she’s napping actually.
I’ve been thinking about the BP oil spill. I may be late to the game. I think I was in Law of Attraction denial, not wanting to look at it. But then I remembered, you can’t do it wrong and it’s never finished.
So go ahead. Look at it.
I watched the Ustream channel for about 30 seconds. I could barely stand it. And I was sitting down.
I thought about the Spaceship Enterprise. Stay with me here. I know I said the Jedi is napping and I don’t mean to mix my sci-fi metaphors.
From Heartbreak To Joy, In One Easy Step
Just by thinking it?
According to the Law of Attraction. If you think it, you can have it (or essentially create it).
And if you look no further at it, the Law of Attraction falls short. And can be misinterpreted as another “quick fix”… right?
We experience the challenges of life and our overall agenda is “Get me outta here, my discomfort, my heartbreak, my lack of any kind” and we begin hunting furiously for the neon green EXIT sign. It’s almost automatic in some cases.
Look! A New Wall To Stare At!
I moved my office over the weekend. It’s the first time ever that I’ve had a room in my home that was not for sleeping.
When I leapt off the window ledge of corporate, I worked out of my bedroom. It was large enough to carve out a space for everything I needed.
In less than a year, I had decided that it didn’t feel right. I was “living” in my bedroom. So I relocated to the dining room.
Jedi: All of your power is Now (right now). Now (right now).
Me: But I have good reason to feel this way… all these blog posts and stuff; I can tell you the story of how horrible it is…
Jedi: You’re right. You should feel bad. But feel bad and then do your best to help yourself feel good. All of your power is Now. Now is your point of attraction.
What would make you feel more comfortable right NOW?
Best of ’09 is a series of posts inspired by Gwen Bell’s The Best of 09 Blog Challenge. It’s a challenge designed to help me write more and rediscover more grateful moments in my 2009! Hopefully, 31 posts in 31 days ;)
The best place. A coffee shop? A pub? A retreat center? A cubicle? A nook?
A Year of Thinking Dangerously
So the whole best stuff feels a little pressure-y today. And hey, I’m just want to mention (mostly for myself) that I have been writing more. Doing this blog challenge thing. Having fun. Meeting interesting people. Easier than I thought. The aha-moments, “Oh yeah, “That’s what I always do. I make it up harder than it’s really going to be. There that is again.” Silly me.

Workshop or conference. Was there a conference or workshop you attended that was especially beneficial? Where was it? What did you learn?
Best Workshop
Best workshop was Mark Silver’s Business Momentum six-week teleclass. Mark believes in nurturing the heart to sustain and build a business. So much goodness came out of this course. Mark even turned it into a one-year course because the content is so meaty and totally worth the investment of my time, money and energy.

I have a constant hunger.
It’s personal really. I’ve always been thirsty to know more than I know. And not just for the sake of knowing it but for some type of relief it offers to me. A kind of self-understanding it brings forward that helps me relax a little bit more into what is.
And so, following my hunger per usual, this has been the year of Law of Attraction.
Are you ready to get your RSS stuff figured out (or understand better what it is and why you want to use it)? I’m writing this post just for you (well actually my client Rebecca Morehead who got her tech savvy on with me and created a niche website for her upcoming Law of Attraction book).
She sent me an email asking about RSS and basically wanting to get her head around it so she can do better with it on her web presence.
What It Is
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.
Letting go and surrendering any need for a challenge to change and be different so we can be more comfortable with it.
After only a few days of practicing the G.A.P. on a regular basis, I’ve noticed some interesting changes in not only my experience of the G.A.P. itself, but also in how I am showing up differently in my life, even when I am not focused on the G.A.P itself.
If you are not familiar with Tom Stone’s powerful Pure Awareness technique called the G.A.P, you can find it in my last post. It’s a very short (less than 15 minutes) audio where Tom actually takes you to the G.A.P. so you can experience it for yourself.
There is a universal force; call it Love, The Law of Attraction, or God, which is always eaves dropping on you. So what are you asking for?
At some point during this year, I made a commitment to myself to dig more deeply into understanding the Law of Attraction after reading Ask & It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks.
I discovered Michael Losier while listening to Oprah & Friends and gobbled up his little book, Law of Attraction, in one sitting. I really appreciated the simplicity and practicality of his approach to explaining concepts that the movie The Secret offered as easy & effortless to apply.
