Feedburner

A couple of weeks ago, I finally installed an Aweber form on my website. I’ve been using Feedburner to deliver my posts by email since I launched msquared in the summer of 2009.

Basically, Feedburner is perfect when you are just starting out. And, it’s free. It helps you start building your own list by offering your web visitors a way to receive your blog posts by email.

Aweber or Feedburner?

September 10, 2010

Writing is easy, when you are open to receiving the prompts given endlessly by life. (This post is inspired by my latest new client from Milan, Italy. Yes, Italy… as in Eat, Pray, Love… and her Italiano accent is delish!)

So, if you are new to my blog, I’ll say again, I help women who are just starting out. You may have a static web presence, or both a static web presence and a blog or maybe you want to add a blog to your static web presence.

Or, maybe after playing around in the micro-bizness entrepreneurial internets, you’ve realized that each and every web presence you create requires time/energy/attention to maintain and grow it so, like me, you’ve combined it all into one place.

And how optimystical does overwhelm.

Let’s face it, the blogosphere is a big and intimidating place when you’re just starting out. The internet provides us access to soooo much information.  It can be overwhelming.

The best way to deal with overwhelm is to break my steps down into ever smaller steps. This helps my focus & clarity. Once I can see, I can generally start moving again. I become still, quieter. And inspiration… the energy to take action, comes flooding in.

Are you ready to get your RSS stuff figured out (or understand better what it is and why you want to use it)? I’m writing this post just for you (well actually my client Rebecca Morehead who got her tech savvy on with me and created a niche website for her upcoming Law of Attraction book).

She sent me an email asking about RSS and basically wanting to get her head around it so she can do better with it on her web presence.

What It Is

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.
