Writing Wishes For 2011

December 2, 2010

Reverb10.com. An annual event and online initiative to reflect on your year and manifest what’s next. The end of the year is an opportunity to reflect on what’s happened, and to send out reverberations for the year ahead.

December 2 Writing. What do you do each day that doesn’t contribute to your writing — and can you eliminate it? (Author: Leo Babauta).

This is such a hot topic for me. Very excited when I read it this morning. Irony is, here I sit. Late evening. About to hit publish.

I drank up many great posts today, in and outside of #reverb10, wondering if/when I would have time to write my own installment and laughing, at myself and today’s prompt.

WordPress is god. Period.

The Best Technology Advice I Have To Offer You

WordPress is god. Period. This could be the end of the post because it is just that short & sweet. But let me just elaborate briefly on why it would be silly to consider using anything other than WordPress for creating and managing your web presence.

You don’t have a ton of money.

You aren’t rich yet! The good news is you can grow your business easily using WordPress meaning start out with one blog post and one page with no way for anyone to pay you (it’s a 20% start) and grow into churning some serious cashola through a highly customized, full-of-automation-and-integration web presence and WordPress will handle it all.

Dropping Illusions

August 23, 2010

stars say: last week especially, brought some major, life-changing & long-simmering line-drawing & realigning. http://bit.ly/bxhUJ

Charlie and I had been poking around one of my latest illusions for a while now. And even other supporters in my circle of Light had shared with me, about a pattern they were seeing, where I was giving my power over to another.

I could totally get this intellectually. And sometimes even see the pattern myself. But mostly, I’ve been in the midst of feeling what it was like.
